Seeds of the Word House
Palmas, TO
Founded in 2004, it was the Community's first Mission House. The Seeds of the Word House hosts events of the Archdiocese and also organizes retreats. For nine months, it hosts the Sabbatical Year.
Every year, this House hosts the Youth Festival, during Carnaval week, and the Family Festival, in July.
Little Seeds of Love House
Palmas, TO
Founded in 2005, the "Seeds of Love" project aims to welcome, on a full-time or rotating basis, children and teenagers in situations of social vulnerability. Inserted in the heart of the Community, the youngsters live out their routine with the members of the community. They participate in cultural programs, sports and leisure activities, in addition to having pedagogical workshops and school tutoring.
Mount Tabor House
Belém, PA
Founded in 2010, the Mount Tabor Mission House hosts events of the Archdiocese and also organizes community retreats. Throughout nine months, it hosts the Sabbatical Year. During the Cirio of Nazareth, it also participates in the celebrations and boat processions, organizing a boat that conducts moments of praise, prayer and devotion to the Virgin Mary during the River Pilgrimage.
Bishop Vincent Zico Seminary
Belém, PA
The Seeds of the Word seminarians live in this house. Together with the Mount Tabor House, they participate in Community life and in the activities of the Archdiocese.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel House Belém, PA
Founded in 2020, the House corresponds to the site where the Carmel School and the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel used to be, in the historic center of Belém. The mission arose from a call from the Archdiocese of Belém and the Salesians, who are responsible for the space. Currently, the House is destined to receive and promote Retreats, and also to host the Sabbatical Year School.
The Church of Carmel, the first Church in the Amazon and a Historical Heritage Site, is open to the public according to the schedules and programs established by the Community.
Our Lady of Loreto House
Manaus, AM
Founded in 2018, the Our Lady of Loreto House hosts retreats for the Archdiocese and the Sabbatical Year School. The Community also participates in riverside and parish missions together with the local Church. It carries out missionary work with children and young people from the communities near the House.
Our Lady of Aparecida Fraternity
Manaus, AM
The missionary fraternity Our Lady of Aparecida works in communion with the Farm of Hope charism. Its mission is the School of the Word, with biblical and human formation of men and women recovering from alcohol or drug addictions.
St. Francis de Sales House
Rio de Janeiro, RJ
Founded in 2016, the House hosts external retreats and organizes Community retreats, as well as hosting the Sabbatical Year School. The house used to be a Salesian school, and today it gathers together five missionary realities of the Seeds of the Word Community.
It carries out missions with the local Church, in parishes and in communities, among other missions.
Our Lady of the Rosary
Bangu, RJ
The House is located in front of the Gericinó Penitentiary Complex, one of the largest prisons in Latin America, in Bangu, Rio de Janeiro. Its main mission is evangelization in prisons and with the prisoner’s family members during visiting times. It works in communion with the Prison Pastoral Care of the Archdiocese of Rio de Janeiro.
St. Dulce of the Poor House
Nova Iguaçu, RJ
The Mission began in December 2021 at the "Recanto Paz e Bem" nursing home. It is a long-term care center in the diocese of Nova Iguaçu, RJ, which welcomes elderly people from social risk areas, offering medical and religious assistance, so that they can live this stage of life with dignity. This is the main mission, besides always being available to the diocese's call for other missions of evangelization.
St. Teresa House
Rio de Janeiro, RJ
St. Teresa House is located in downtown Rio de Janeiro, next to the Carmel of Saint Teresa. Its missionaries assist with the missions of the Archdiocese, especially in the city's cathedral. They also work in communion with the Missionaries of Charity, in the mission with the poor and homeless, offering formation to restore human dignity. They also work together with the Ambulatory of Providence, which offers medical, dental, social, psychological, and pharmaceutical assistance to the homeless.
Europe
Our Lady of Perpetual Help - Aveiro, Portugal
Founded in 2017, Our Lady of Perpetual Help House has the mission of hosting internal and external retreats. The house belongs to the Diocese of Aveiro and was built over 30 years ago. It also assists the Diocese in missions and the reception of pilgrims.
St. Joseph House - Vila Chã, Portugal
The St. Joseph missionary house hosts retreats of the Archdiocese and organizes community retreats. For twelve years, the missionaries have carried out the mission at the Holy House of Mercy in Almerim, working as a religious presence and spiritual support, in addition to carrying out other missions in the Archdiocese, in schools and parishes.
Mary, Cause of Our Joy - Tongeren, Belgium
The mission in Belgium began in 2011 in Hasselt. The first four missionaries of the Seeds of the Word Community were welcomed by the Ursuline Congregation. There, the first hospitality and charitable events were held. As the mission grew, it was necessary to look for a larger space, and in 2015, the missionaries moved to a convent of Poor Clares in Tongeren. This Mission House was named "Mary, cause of our joy".
In this house, retreats are organized in the Charism of the Community, including catechesis groups, parishes and charismatic renewal groups, among others.
Abbey of Tongerlo - Tongerlo, Belgium
This missionary fraternity lives inside one of the oldest Abbeys in Belgium, in Tongerlo. Its mission is evangelization in the city. As a religious presence, it helps with welcoming visitors to the Abbey.
Africa
St. Bakhita House
Dombé, Mozambique
Founded in 2019, the missionary fraternity Santa Bakhita works in communion with the charism of the "Farm of Hope". The Community works in evangelization and assistance with the population of the nearby localities, especially the Chitaitai Children's Center, a daycare center where more than 200 children are cared for. The mission has several challenges, including linguistic, cultural, and socioeconomic ones.
