Parish Mission in Medicine Hat

From November 19th to 23rd, we held a missionary week at Holy Family and St. Patrick Parish in Medicine Hat.

On Saturday, we preached a retreat for families, with the theme "Saint Joseph, model for families", with programs for adults and children.

We also participated in all the masses in both parishes, promoting our Community and Lectio Divina, we did a fundraiser for the mission by selling some macaroons. On the same day, we had an Advent Parish Mission at St. Patrick's in preparation for Advent with the theme "From darkness to light (Jn 1.5)".

On the fourth and fifth day (Monday and Tuesday), we visited 8 Catholic schools, entering each class from kindergarten to grade 9, to talk with the students about vocation and missionary life, and answer their questions. Also on Monday, we held the same Advent Parish mission at Holy Family, and on our way back in Brooks, at the request of the parish priest.
