Door-to-door mission at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish

On September 10th (Friday), we carried out a Door-to-door mission at Our Lady of the Assumption parish in the Diocese of Calgary.

The mission was accomplished in one day, together with the pastor, Father Matthew, who joined us for the home visits. The purpose of the mission was to evangelize through the Lectio Divina Compendium that was distributed to each of the homes visited, inviting people to prayerfully read the Scriptures. We also promoted the parish program and invited people to participate in some activity in the Church, such as Mass, confession, or Eucharistic adoration.

It was a great experience for us to sow the Seeds of the Word in a completely different way for this reality, we also witnessed the pastor's joy in being able to know the reality of the neighborhood of his parish.
